The Role
As a Software Engineer, you'll work directly with our Senior Software Engineer to build out our engineering team. You'll have complete ownership over the features you build, from ideation and design to development and production. We work in a product-focused environment, where engineers are their own PMs and everyone cares deeply about the end-user. We're constantly pushing high-demand features, and you'll be able to define and implement a variety of products while solving exciting and unique technical challenges surrounding efficiency and optimization.
About You:
You have 2+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer at a high-growth startup or tech company
You're experienced in building large-scale, full-stack web apps (React, TypeScript, Firebase/Firestore/Cloud Functions)
You have strong familiarity with Frontend and Styling
You're experienced in building and instrumenting high performance and scalable systems
You're familiar with NoSQL architecture and data design
You're focused on software quality, design, testing, and documentation
Bonus points:
You love to learn new things — you aren't afraid to test out 5 rich text editors and build your own mini-libraries to fill in the features that existing frameworks lack.
You thrive on collaboration and support — you're not afraid to jump on a call to debug or walk through a challenge at a moment's notice.
You have a passion for making professional development and career growth accessible to all!
Acme Games is proud to be an equal employment workplace committed to promoting an inclusive work environment free of discrimination and harassment. We encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply.
